"Report of experience with Hiperboloide: In my clinical practice, I often use this mastication apparatus with patients that go to my office. I usually use it in patients with TMA dysfunction that present disk reduction (clicking) and/or reduction in the buccal open amplitude, through the latero-protrusive exercises, as these promote the articular disk recover. In patients that are in post-operative stage, I perform training with Hiperboloide when they no longer have pain, in order to gain buccal amplitude (opening and lateralization) and to straighten the orofacial musculature".
